The International Office of Child Development and Education facilitiates the study period of international students wanting to study at the College or Graduate School of Child Development and Education at the UvA.
The bureau of the Graduate School consists of staff dedicated to specific Master's programmes (coordinators, study advisors and programme managers) and personnel with overall support tasks (admissions and registrar's office, quality control, secretariat).
Functions in the area of marketing and communication, ICTO (ICT in Education), web-management etc. could offer their services to both the Graduate School and the College of Child Development and Education.
Programmes and plans will be developed, in collaboration with the director of the Undergraduate College of Child Development and Education, to determine which functions can best be organised on which level.
Primary objective will be to maintain, and where necessary improve, a high standard of service to students and lecturers, and a style of management and administration which can be characterised as non-bureaucratic, service-minded and highly competent.
